Replacing windows is a process! This is our first time having to replace some old windows in our house. I am so happy that I chose Window Depot! They have been great from start to finish. The windows are great quality and they are so functional! The installation was great and on time. Matt was really good at explaining everything he was doing and what needed to be done. Jeanne in the office was fantastic at handling all of the administrative part of the ordering and financing. I will be using Window Depot for 4 more windows and a sliding glass door as well!

I cannot adequately express my deep appreciation for Matt, who just finished installing 22 windows at my house. I am in awe of his professionalism. He did an outstanding job from start to end. Matt was meticulous and did not cut corners just to get the job done. I found him to be a wealth of knowledge and has a desire to please his customers, a rare quality these days.

UPDATE 2/8/2019: I am bumping my rating up based on the follow up on the issues below. While my install was not the greatest experience, they did everything they could to make up for it afterward. The business owner did reach out to me as well to help understand some of the concerns I had. Original Review: I had Window Depot install 3 double pane windows in my house about 3 months ago for about $1600. My interaction with the office folks was fine, but I was not impressed with the installers. A few issues that arose: -They let my yard gate open and my dog ran off -They left a bunch of sharp metal debris (screws, aluminum shavings) in my yard/flower bed -Several marks were left on my walls -One of the installers smelled like marijuana A couple of other reasons for the low rating: -I was told I would be sent a gift card due to my install issues and I never received this -At least one of the window's has a bit of a poor fit with the lower pane/slider I feel bad complaining about all this, but I really was not impressed with the service. The sales staff (Zeke I think) was awesome however. I am hoping to install a few more windows, but will plan to look elsewhere.

We had ordered our windows and due to covid and the storm it took a bit longer to get our windows, but we finally got them installed with exceptional service. The windows and patio door look amazing. You can see the quality of the material and know that they are gonna last. Special thank you to two young very polite installers that were extremely prompt and completed the installation in a timely manner. Since I work from home the work was done in a manner that provided no interruption to my workday. Thank you to: Zeke and Doug!

We had all of our windows replaced last year. We were so pleased with the service and products, when it came to have the house resided we called Jeanne McElroy. She and Josh Nehaus (the owner) came out to the house and gave us a quote to have siding, soffit, and fascia. Installation started at he end of October and when great except for the late October snow which put a minor hiccup in the process. The crew pushed thru and it looks great. Several people have complimented on how great the house. The best thing is the insulated siding has cut down on outside noise. The house is so much more quiet. On a side note he had torn down an old porch and awning before the install and the crew took all the metal and wood and disposed of of for us. This kind of service seems to be the norm rather than the exception at Window Depot USA of Eastern Iowa. Thanks again Josh, Jeanne, and crew.

Dallas and his crew did a great job installing our 6 windows. We were surprised that our windows came in almost 6 months early and all windows were installed and trimmed out in just 2 days. Everyone we talked to at Window Depot were courteous and very helpful.

we called window depot at the end of July. Dustin Betzer came out and measured our sunroom wall of sliders, our family room sliders down stairs, and the window above our fireplace. we chose to replace all windows with triple pane glass. we were told the wait for the windows could be quite lengthy. However the windows came in about two months later. The installers ( Jayden, Billy, and Tj ) arrived last week to do the work. They were on time worked straight thru till the job was done. we can not tell you how happy we are with the new look! we have wanted to get new ones for quite some time. and we can't believe how fantastic they look. their crew was polite and very professional. And for the sliders down stairs their team noticed that there was a gap between the patio and the sliders. so they put a flange dow at the bottom. not in their job description but that just goes show how detail oriented they were. we just had to call for a minor adjustment on out screen door and they came today and about 20 minutes later, we truly couldn't ask for more. we did not sop around for hours and days for windows. we chose window depot and it was absolutely the right choice. I would not hesitate to give window depot my recommendation. there is a smudge on the upstairs sunroom window. I almost feel compelled to clean it.

Their installers do good work. It’s everyone else there that lack customer service. Schedulers don’t return calls. Sometimes they lie and say they did (forgetting people with cell phones have caller ID). I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks just to get scheduled for service to look at why my brand new window won’t close all the way and latch. DO BETTER!

I have only the best things to say about Josh and the rest of his team. Our insurance company told us we did not have that much damage after a recent hail storm. We contacted Window Depot USA of Eastern Iowa, and Josh and his team responded very quickly. They came and performed their own assessment and found significant hail damage. They coordinated with our insurance company, and set an appointment for everyone to come back at the same time for an additional inspection. During this meeting, the insurance company ultimately agreed that the roof needed replaced, as well as a portion of the gutters. Josh was adamant about writing a fair quote and working with the insurance company to ensure we received quality shingles, felt, etc. When it came time to do the work, the crew was prompt, professional, friendly, and got it finished in one day! Josh and/or a foreman came back frequently during the day to check up on progress. If you need a new roof, I highly recommend Josh and his team. They made getting a new roof and dealing with the insurance company a breeze!

Although I’m being screwed over by my insurance company, Josh and Window Depot have been absolutely wonderful to work with. He has come out at no cost multiple times to help me try to please my insurance company, special ordered a piece of siding, came out and installed it per my insurance’s request, as well as helping me through the insurance process all at no cost. if you want professionalism, knowledge, responsiveness, and just an all-around solid company, I highly recommend Window Depot

Window Depot offers high energy efficient windows at a very competitive price. We replaced over 10 windows in our home in the Quad Cities with triple pane vinyl windows. The owner, Josh, and team member, Melissa, came to do our initial measurements and answered all of my questions. Incredibly detailed, friendly, and patient. Everytime I called or texted, Jeanne answered my questions within that business day. Window Depot not only remembered when we were moving in to our renovation home, but made sure they had the windows installed before our move in date! Our installers were Kyle and Marty, and they had all our windows replaced within two days. They look great and function well. They also did a terrific job of cleaning up any old (potentially lead) paint chips from the old windows. I spoke with Marty and he showed us how to operate and wash our windows. My fiancé spoke with Kyle at an earlier point and remarked how pleasant of a conversation it was. Providing a good product at a good value gets you jobs, but being friendly, attentive, and thorough gets you return customers. We would strongly recommend Window Depot to anyone in the Quad Cities looking for replacement windows!

Well.. i didnt think i was going to be leaving this review. After a very messy start with the install process with one crew from window depot, we were pretty unhappy. We had 16 windows in our house installed/replaced and all of them were a mess, took two weeks and no cleanup was done. I called the office and spoke with jeannie who assured me that the windows in the photos i sent were going to be fixed and done the right way. I wasnt so sure..and then..Jayden Goos and his crew came out. They went through and redid what was already done and finished the job in two days! Jayden was apologetic and friendly. He was fun and personable yet professional! And the windows looked great and made us feel much better about the investment we just made. I was very impressed! Next time i need them, i will ask for jayden specifically. Thanks jayden for caring about what you do and taking the time to do it correctly!!

Windows took a month or two to come in which is expected with custom order windows over summer months. Work was completed in a single day for 4 difficult to work with windows. When I had an issue with a corner being loose they were back the same day I reported it to fix. Were very attentive and pleasant to work and communicate with. Prices were reasonable and product seems to be of much better quality than the builders grade windows they replaced.

I recently had a new window installed in my kitchen replacing a very old pully system window. Dustin was great with helping on the ordering. Jayden, Billy, and T.J were extremely efficient and amazing at the install. I will definitely be reaching out to Dustin for my next window project and requesting the same install group!

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Window Depot. Melissa, the salesperson, was not pushy at all (unlike other companies I came across). The price was also lower than some other quotes I had gotten previously. I personally had little to no knowledge about windows or window installs beforehand and was afraid of being taken advantage of. But Melissa was patient, honest, and fair with me which I really appreciated. I chose triple pane windows that made an immediate difference in the amount of warm air retained inside the house. I have no doubt the windows will have a huge impact on my heating bill. The window install team was also very good; these guys showed up a month earlier than expected and also got the job done in half the time. They were respectful and didn't complain when I forgot to shovel the backyard after a big snowstorm (they had to clear their own path to the windows). Josh & the crew helped us out greatly when we came into a tight bind with water damage in our home originating from a damaged/failed deck door. We already had the measurements completed as our plan was to replace the door next spring, so when we contacted them, they were able to order the door quickly. Installation went smoothly and they worked non stop from start to finish. The team is knowledgeable, friendly and the door is solid and great quality. We are relieved to have the issues fixed and thrilled to have a new beautiful sliding door. No more drafts coming in! We look forward to working with them in the future to replace the remaining windows in our home!

Great friendly team to work with…awesome communication overall. I was quoted 9mo wait time and they had my custom windows made and installed in 5mo. David was amazing to work with during installation…very polite and quick worker! Due to my budget, I didn’t replace all windows in my home this time around…but I do plan to reach out to this same team for the remaining windows I need in the future! We recently had some windows replaced in our home. Jayden, Billy, and TJ worked non-stop to get the job done. My husband and I were treated with respect and friendliness. They were careful not to leave a mess or damage any of our property. If we had any questions, they were answered. We had no problems with them. We are pleased with the windows. Already our home is quieter and warmer. Keep in mind that some window treatments will probably need to be changed. We weren't really expecting that, but it wasn't a problem with most of the windows. Dustin helped us plan it all out and explained the process and the pros and cons of different styles of windows. He tried to get us the best price he could. We enjoyed meeting him. Janine and Jeanne were helpful and pleasant to deal with. They forgave me for not recognizing they were two different people and that I got their names mixed up. I had a great experience with Window Depot! Jeanne was great to work with and we are very pleased. I love that there is a lifetime warranty. We haven't replaced all of our windows yet, but when we do it will be with Window Depot!

We just had a visit from Dustin Betzer, the delightful fellow that sold us our windows. He stopped by to confirm that we were happy with the purchase (WE ARE!) The installer, Ron, was pretty cool too and didn't make me feel as anxious about someone being at my house as I usually do. We still need to have a picture window replaced, but that's completely our fault because we haven't decided what kind to get, yet. I will definitely be doing that business with Dustin because this whole situation is making me feel like he could actually turn out to be a lifelong friend.

We used Window Depot for a large project to repair Derecho damage in my brother-in-law’s house. New siding, new roof, soffits, fascia, a window and storm doors, and new gutters and downspouts. Josh and Jayden did excellent work. They were punctual and professional. Brandon did amazing work on an entry door that was a total mess and he basically rebuilt the frame to make it look better than it ever did. We really appreciate these guys and the job they did at transforming the outside of my brother-in-law’s home.
